Develop or strengthen the skills required to operate and promote a professional beauty or barber practice. Course topics may include:

Instructor Development
Modern Classroom Certified Trainer® (MCCT)
Strengthen your ability to facilitate engaging learning experiences in modern, virtual, hybrid, and technology-supported classrooms.
The MCCT course explores adult learning, course preparation, facilitation techniques, instructional delivery, learner engagement, and classroom technology. It also prepares participants for the Logical Operations Modern Classroom Certified Trainer® assessment.
The MCCT course is now approved as continuing education for eligible Nevada cosmetology instructors.
Artificial Intelligence for Beauty and Barber Professionals
Artificial intelligence is changing how professionals communicate, create content, market services, manage information, and serve their customers.
BeautyCE learners may also explore selected courses from our Pathways in AI curriculum. Topics include:
- AI fundamentals for business
- Generative AI
- Prompt engineering
- Responsible AI use
- Agentic AI
- AI-supported marketing and communication
These courses provide professional development unless they are specifically identified by your state board as approved for continuing education.
Podcasting and Digital Visibility
Your knowledge, experience, and professional voice can reach far beyond the chair or classroom.
Our podcasting courses help beauty and barber professionals explore podcast planning, content development, recording, production, distribution, and promotion. Learners may begin with the mini-course or pursue the comprehensive podcasting program.
OHIO
BeautyCE Institute offers professional-development courses for Ohio cosmetology and barber professionals. A comprehensive program for eligible lapsed licensees is also in development. Current open courses do not award Ohio continuing education hours; however, our courses are open to all who want additional knowledge.
NEVADA
BeautyCE Institute offers approved professional education for eligible Nevada instructors, including the Modern Classroom Certified Trainer® course. Nevada does not require continuing education hours for standard licensees; however, our courses are open to all who want additional knowledge. Current pathways include:
Business and entrepreneurship education
Modern Classroom Certified Trainer® training for instructors
Professional development for standard licensees.
GEORGIA
Approved continuing education is available for eligible Georgia cosmetology and barber professionals. Additional courses for licensees and instructors are being developed and submitted for approval.
NORTH DAKOTA
Approved continuing education is available for eligible North Dakota cosmetology and barber professionals. Additional courses for licensees and instructors are being developed and submitted for approval.
