NV-Managing Your Business

Upon completion of this segment participants will be able to implement the guiding principles of a business owner (integrity, reliability, dependability, responsibility, and accountability), know the importance of location, five important parts of operations, taxes as an owner or independent contractor, implement various forms of payments for clients, set up rules for children in the salon or shop, utilize planned and casual networking to build relationships and grow their clientele. Participants will also learn how a website is necessary for the business and what goes into having one.
