Upon completion of this 2 CEU hour course Georgia Cosmetologists and Barbers will increase their knowledge in pricing services, creating service specials, hosting events, understand the importance of retail: value of products, research professional products, choose the right products to retail, using professional email, email marketing the legal way to promote products and services. And finally, participants will be able to integrate social media to promote their business. Additionally, participants will be able to implement the guiding principles of a business owner (integrity, reliability, dependability, responsibility, and accountability), know the importance of location, five important parts of operations, taxes as an owner or independent contractor, implement various payment methods, set up rules for children in the salon or shop, utilize planned and casual networking to build relationships and grow their clientele.
